How to Measure Your Ring Size
We offer three simple methods to help you find your perfect ring size. Choose the one that works best for you:
Method 1: Measuring Your Finger Circumference (Easiest)
This method provides an accurate measurement of your finger size:
- Cut a thin strip of paper, about 3mm wide.
- Wrap it snugly around the base of your finger where you intend to wear the ring.
- Mark the point where the paper overlaps with a pen.
- Unfold the paper and measure the distance between the two marks.
After measuring, you can refer to our size chart to find your corresponding ring size. For example, if your measurement is 49.5 mm, you would choose the closest ring size, which is HK size 11.
Pro Tip: If your knuckle is larger than the base of your finger, measure around the knuckle instead. You can also use a thin string instead of paper. Remember to wrap it snugly with a slight squeeze for the most accurate measurement.
Method 2: Measuring an Existing Ring
If you have a ring that fits well, you can use it to determine your size:
- Place the ring on a flat surface.
- Measure its inner diameter using a ruler.
- Refer to our size chart to find your corresponding ring size.
For the most accurate measurement, use a ruler that measures to the nearest half-millimeter (as shown in the left image). If you don't have access to such a precise ruler, a standard ruler (right image) can be used as an alternative.
Count the number of 1mm increments and estimate the decimal value to determine the diameter. Then, consult our size chart to find your corresponding ring size. For example, if the diameter measures approximately 16.5mm, your ring size would be Hong Kong size 13.
Method 3: Using Our Printable Ring Size Guide
For a quick and easy method:
- Download our Free Ring Size Guide.
- Print it at 100% scale (no resizing).
- Verify the scale by measuring the 3cm mark on the printed guide with a ruler.
- Place an existing ring (preferably one with a smaller main stone or no stone) on the circles.
- Find the circle that best matches your ring's inner circumference.
Remember, the perfect fit should slide over your knuckle with slight resistance and feel snug but comfortable on your finger.
